Bright Film Journal considers collaborations that make sense for readers interested in films and screen storytelling, while keeping editorial judgment distinct from commercial activity.

Possible collaborations

We consider clearly defined projects such as a commissioned explanatory feature, an event or screening partnership, and relevant partner placements across the site. Proposals should explain the subject, intended audience, format and any requested visibility. Relevance to our film focus matters more than scale.

Editorial boundaries

Partner support does not buy an editorial verdict or guarantee independent coverage. We retain control of editorial decisions and may decline an arrangement that would blur the difference between editorial work and promotion. Any agreed scope should be clear before work begins.

Labelling and proposals

Paid, supplied or partner-supported content and placements are labelled clearly where they appear. To propose a collaboration, use the Contact page and select the partnership option. Include the proposed format, subject and any relevant conditions so the request can be considered on its own terms.
